Incoloy800
Incoloy800 is an alloy that typically contains 15-25% Cr, 30-45% nickel, and contains small amounts of aluminum and titanium.
The Cr content in 800 alloy is usually 15-25%, the nickel content is 30-45%, and contains small amounts of aluminum and titanium.
Alloy 800 is in a single austenite zone after rapid cooling from high temperature, so its service state is a single austenite structure.
The alloy has a high chromium content and sufficient nickel content, so it has high high temperature corrosion resistance and is widely used in industry.
In chloride, low-concentration NaOH aqueous solution and high-temperature and high-pressure water, it has excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance, so it is used to manufacture equipment resistant to stress corrosion cracking.
standard
ASTM B409……. Stainless steel hot rolled steel plate
ASTM B514…Stainless Steel Cold Rolled Steel Sheet
ASTM B515…Stainless/acid-resistant steel cold-rolled strip
supply state
Hot or cold rolled, heat treated, oxidized or pickled
corrosion resistance
The corrosion resistance is better than that of general austenitic stainless steel and Incoloy 600 alloy;
In manufacturing corrosion-resistant stress cracking equipment, it is superior to Incolo 600 and Monel 400 alloys.
hot working
1. The temperature range is 1200℃~950℃, and the cooling method is water quenching or rapid air cooling.
2. In order to obtain optimal performance and creep resistance, solution treatment is required after hot working.
3. The material can be directly sent into a furnace that has been heated to 1200 ° C, and then quickly discharged after holding the temperature for sufficient time, and subjected to hot processing within the specified temperature range. When the material temperature drops below the hot processing temperature, it needs to be reheated.
cold working
1. The work hardening rate is greater than that of austenitic stainless steel, so processing equipment needs to be selected. Cold-worked materials should be in a solution heat treated state, and intermediate annealing should be carried out when the amount of cold working is large.
2. If the cold working volume is greater than 10%, secondary solution treatment is needed on the workpiece.
welding process
Suitable for welding with the same material or other metals using any traditional welding process, such as tungsten electrode inert gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal inert gas shielded welding, and molten electrode inert gas shielded welding. Among them, pulse arc welding is the preferred solution. If manual arc welding is used, it is recommended to use (Ar+He+H2+CO2) as the protective gas.
