In recent years, iron and steel enterprises have continuously increased investment in environmental protection, ultra-low emission projects have continued to advance, and various environmental protection indicators have continued to improve. In 2022, China Iron and Steel Industry Association's key statistical member iron and steel enterprises will consume 2.44 cubic meters of fresh water per ton of steel, a year-on-year decrease of 0.65%; Waste emissions decreased by 12.42% year-on-year.
